OMG so bored!

So I got into every college that I applied to. But I can't go to any of them because there is this one college that i really want to go to and their interview is after a month and till then even though the other lists will start coming, I cant RSVP because this college that i do want to go to is like 'If u have taken admission elsewhere, please dont come here.' Which is like ,wtf! So i have to wait for a month in the HOPE that i might get into my choice of college. What if i don't!? THEN WHAT???

So yeah, that's the story of my life.

On the other hand, since i am super bored, I am learning DIY Headbands and DIY Disco Balls! :D
If you are bored too, you should totally try them out! It helps kill time.

Just died and went to heaven *_*

Some men who are just so HOT:

Oh good Lord! How amazing is Henry Cavill's smile? Do you agree??

That man's smile... *I just died and went to heaven*

And a special mention-
CHRISTOPHER REEVE!!!

No body else can wear red underpants and look as HOT as him!

And God was very partial when He created Jensen Ackles. Hottness personified:

Damn right. Some men are just blessed O:)  *sigh*

Anxiety disorder (you suck!)

Panic attacks are the worst thing on the planet!

Ever had a panic attack? Ever felt like your heart was going to explode, your hands were dripping or you felt like puking, or maybe you had a hot flash but suddenly got goosebumps. Yup, that's how terrible they are. And a person cannot imagine how bad it is. He/she needs to feel it to know it, although i dont wish for them to feel a panic attack. It's bad.

I had been diagnosed with panic disorder 2 years ago and its been there since. I do get therapy and i do have a shrink who is awesome, but it doesn't help a hundred percent. its like God playing a cruel joke on you.

If you have been reading this and thing "omg yes! i totally know what you mean!" and I'd love to hear from you. Its nice to know that i'm not the only one.

:)

Yes. Edvard Munch who made this painting 'The Scream' probably had panic attacks too.

Out of school, not yet in college. Dammit!

The gap between school and college can be many things...

I basically have 3-4 months till college starts, and turns out, its an interesting period. These days i am cooking meals and clicking amazing pictures of nature and i can also have some me time, until college.

I clicked this the other day, just before it started raining:

Do you like it? Let me know! :D

Coming to the cooking part, I made bread pudding the other day, the way Nigella makes it and it was drop dead delicious! I also made thai noodles, mushrooms in hoisin sauce and baked chicken in hoisin sauce. Its actually quite simple. I feel proud of myself.

I plan to become a psychologist...but what if my true calling is cooking or photography!? okay...now i realize that this gap between school and college is actually there to give you second and third thoughts and make you confused and paranoid. shit.

It rained here today. The weather guy says monsoon has arrived. There was a lot of lightning and a lot of thunder and I desperately wanted to capture a lightning in my camera, but it's tough. I am hoping i have the whole of monsoon to capture one. Pleeeeez, God please!!

Are u reading this? Leave a comment <3

Teen trouble.

As a teenager, have you ever felt like running away from home and going somewhere far away, to live in peace? Or maybe you felt like you desperately needed a vacation? All because your family was screaming at you all day long saying that (apparently) you are not being serious about your life?

I am feeling that right now.

I am Harlow's baby monkey (could be).

I could be Harlow's baby monkey-

I went to check out a college today...it was pretty nice and had that old British feeling. I wonder if there are ghost in there. Old nun ghosts. hehe!

They kind of had a counselling thing on and just as i was about to walk in for the interview king of thing, the sole of my shoe came off. had to happen, its the law.
So I hobbled my way in and laughed about it. I guess that's the only option. :|

Oh man, i just want to get admission somewhere. It's giving me sleepless nights! And my parents are going crazy, which is driving me crazy. I want to go watch a movie (something i havent done in sooo long) and all they can panic about is application forms.

********

You must have heard of Harry Harlow and his famous experiment about attachment?
If yes, then i am sure you find it as fascinating as i do. If no, well then, this is the gist-
Harlow was doing some experiment with baby monkeys that were kept secluded so that they wouldn't catch some kind of infection (his experiment was on immunity, no where near psychology) and he noticed that the baby monkeys were very attached to this piece of cloth in their cage. They would cling on to it all the time, and protest if they blankets were taken away for washing. So, Harlow was like "ooh, i must find out why!"

So then he built two wire mother monkeys, one clad in cloth, and one without cloth, but had a bottle of milk attached. It was seen that the baby monkey would hold on to the cloth mommy all through out the day and would occasionally go the milk mommy, have food, and then come back to cloth mommy. Harlow also saw that when the cloth mommy tried to reject the baby with spikes or strong winds, the baby would go away and then come back soon enough.

So Harlow called the blanket the Security Blanket, and the baby monkey's behavior- Attachment.
Harlow also said that babies need comfort and protection, not only food. And that is how Harlow, from a physician, became a psychologist!

I like this story, especially because I can totally relate. No, i dont have to choose between milk mommy and cloth mommy, but I went on a sleepover to my friend's the other day and i left my blanket at her place, and now i miss my blanket and have a tough time sleeping!! :(
I have to go get it back, asap.

Here is a picture of Harlow's baby monkey-

College applications are a pain in the posterior!

College applications are such a pain in the butt. Every website is different, and even though their agenda is the same (to take students) they make sure you feel stoopid when you visit the websites.
Why can't they just tell you straight away what subjects they offer, how many electives you can choose and when exactly their forms will come out!? Oh no, they shall use the weirdest, most complicated way to tell that It's-not-that-easy-so-you-better-be-smarty-pants.

Whatever...I'll figure it out anyway. We always do ;)

Oh and Indian colleges also wont write back to your queries even though their websites say that if you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to write to them. My ass.

You ask them a question and they write back (rarely) saying: Please check our website.
Like I didn't already do that!

Now i shall go and get my bunch of documents ready. There are so many, i am losing track.

Ciao for now,
Princess becoming freakier.

One, two, buckle my shoe. :)

My first Blog post! yayy!

Hey there, it's me. Welcome to the first chapter of my blog-life.
Although i still have no idea what to write about right now, i know what i will write about in the days to come:

1. my pets (2 chickens and 2 goldfish)
2. my favourite topic- fashion and shopping :)
3. and the gift of life. haha, well it is pretty much a surprie gift that screams at your face "ta-da!!!" (life, i mean).

So yes, i shall just go with the flow and keep posting and hopefully I'll look back to this day (1st June, 2013) and think ' I am so glad i did this, it's been so much fun :)'

Cheers to new beginnings and baby steps,
its me,
